Ocado Group - sustainable business strategy presentation for ESG Research Providers
Ocado would like to invite you to join an educational briefing for sustainable investment / ESG analysts to understand the company’s recent progress and future aspirations.
This is an exclusive opportunity and promises to be an enlightening discussion around the nuances of ESG at one of the UK fastest evolving companies.
The business has undergone a significant transformation in the last few years, evolving from a primarily UK-based pure play online grocery retailer, to a global robotics and software platform solutions provider for online grocery fulfilment.
The Group now has ten Solutions partners, including some of the world's largest grocery businesses, with public commitments for the build out and operation of automated facilities representing around £20bn in sales. This includes Ocado Retail, the pure play grocery business once the core of Ocado Group and now a joint venture company and Solutions partner, in which the Group has a 50% share.
This dramatic evolution is reflected in both the company's valuation and the findings of their 2020 Materiality Assessment (pg 72) and will be an important foundation for discussion around the Group's ongoing development of their ESG strategy and approach to disclosure, in addition to discussion of the re-launched corporate responsibility strategy.
We look forward to an engaging and collaborative discussion.
